306 TORONTO DANCE COMPANY
ABOUT US
306 Toronto Dance Company stands as the premier commercial jazz-focused dance ensemble in Toronto, Ontario. Guided by Kennedy Elder, our company features talented dancers aged 18 and above who are united by a fervent passion for commercial dance styles.
The name 306 Toronto Dance Company symbolizes the connection between Kennedy's two worlds. "306" stands for the primary area code and a significant identifier of Kennedy's home province, Saskatchewan, while "Toronto" represents Kennedy's adopted home for over a decade.
As the senior branch of the esteemed 306 Elite Dance Company in Saskatchewan, 306 Toronto carries forward the rich legacy established by Kennedy Elder since 2016. While 306 Elite has been nurturing youth, pre-professional dancers in Saskatchewan for years, 306 Toronto embraces the vibrant energy of Canada's bustling dance scene, eager to innovate, expand, and celebrate the art of commerical jazz dance.
Additionally, 306 Toronto serves as a feeder company for those graduating from 306 Elite who wish to pursue a dance career in Toronto. This pathway provides aspiring dancers with opportunities to further develop their skills and collaborate with professionals in one of Canada's most dynamic cities for the arts.
